“Everyone I have ever worked with presented their own unique way of experiencing and dealing with their symptoms. My job has always been to honor that individual experience and tailor my treatments and recommendations to the person sitting across from me, both as a counselor and as a nutritionist.”
Ian completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and received a Master of Science from Bastyr University in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology. His master’s degree was a three year program that provided the foundations to become both a Professional Mental Health Counselor and Certified Nutritionist. His education is rooted in functional medicine and getting to the root cause of an issue while at the same time providing tools to deal with and relief from daily struggles. Ian also has research background in weight loss, quality carbohydrate consumption, and their impact on mood.
