Maria Russell, DMSc, PA-C

Maria Russell, DMSc, PA-C, is a physician assistant with a focus in psychiatric care, including the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, and depression. She was born and raised in Washington State and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington. This early interest in the human mind led her to pursue physician assistant school, where she could combine her passion for psychology with clinical medicine. She completed her Doctor of Medical Science with particular interest in the endocrine and metabolic factors that affect mental health care for women. 

Maria is a natural listener and mediator, bringing calm, steady coordination to her work. She is interested in understanding who her patients are as people, so that treatment plans and interventions are built around what actually works for their lives. Outside of work, Maria enjoys adventuring with her husband and two dogs, hiking, camping, swimming and conversations over a campfire.
